Kingmik Dog Sled Tours

Rob

Rob gave up kangaroos and crocs for a life with sled dogs. He first stepped on the runners in 2018 and hasn’t looked back. He has run dogs in the North West Territories, BC and Alberta and has participated in several races, carrying along his teapot and Aussie Swag for comfort. Rob’s favorite place to be after on a dog sled, is in the seat of a tractor. Now a proud Canadian, he is here to stay.

Emily

Emily grew up in her dad’s sled-dog kennel and learned to run dog teams at such an early age she doesn’t know what she knows! It’s in her blood and as natural as walking for her. She’s a dog whisperer and can bring even the most cautious dog around to her gentle touch. Several dogs from outside kennels have benefited from Emily’s doggie ways. When not running teams, Emily is a warden on Ontario’s lake Systems.

Cynthia

As soon as she left her diapers Cynthia knew she wanted to be a musher, and at 13 years young she started on this journey.  In 2009 she attended the world championships in Quebec where she met mushers from all over the world, and this inspired her to continue to pursue her dream.  After working double shifts in all manners of employment, Cynthia  now has her own kennel of 20 dogs and has traveled by dog team all over Canada and Argentina.
